When is open source NOT open source.
..when a company use it to push their Search Engine Position.
Searching google for "Open Source Web Timesheet", there are thousends of hits for a peice of software called "TimeLive" (http://www.livetecs.com/)
stating that:
TimeLive [is an] open source web-based tool for timesheet automation, billing automation, expense management, employee attendance automation, project management and task management.
I'm sorry did I say Open Source? What we meant was you have to pay $400 to download the source code.
How can they get away with that? oh yeah, its because the interwebs is not policed, lying bastards.

Just because it is on the web doesn't mean it isn't illegal to falsely advertise... I would expect that the UK would have something akin to a Trade Practices Act which sets out what is misleading the public.
